Co-Moderator elections were followed by a powerful worship experience at 16th St. Baptist Church

Yesterday was a very full day at The Presbyterian Youth Connection assembly. For the fourth time in the Youth Connection assembly's history Co-Moderators were elected. Casey and Nancy are going to do an amazing job. I will share more information about then in the coming days.

Being in Birmingham we had to take advantage of the rich history that occurred here during the civil rights movement. We had the opportunity to visit the Civil rights museum and then worship across the street at The 16th St. Baptist church. We were truly blessed to have The Rev. Clyde Carter as our preacher. He was one of the original FREEDOM riders. What a gift we all received through hearing his life story and experiences.
