Ala. woman at heart of campaign to raise aid money for Malawi

I'm so very excited this morning for my friend Colleen. Her year old non-profit organization entitled "Watering Malawi" was just featured by the AP. I love that the article starts off by pointing out a very important fact. "Colleen Burroughs was worried about the people of Malawi long before Madonna created an international sensation by adopting a child from the African nation." This is true for many other organizations as well I bet. Sorry Madonna, you can't take all the credit. Here is a link to the article and her site.
