I never thought it would happen but Kevin Smith through together part two of Clerks. I love that movie. Here is a clip of what's to come.

Our dear friend and wedding photographer Leanna Creel is currently featuring many of our wedding photos on her website. They are some really fun photos. Check them out when you have a chance at http://www.creelphoto.com/
I was checking out David Lamottes myspace.com account and found this really neat video. In 2004 David wrote Your Smile to honor Special Olympics athletes. Below is a beautiful video edited to a live recording of Your Smile, taped at the opening of the 2004 NC Summer Games. The video was conceived by Jeff Ross and edited by Scott Ross. Enjoy!

I'm so happy this is a long weekend. The last few weeks of work have been very busy. I've found myself very anxious and not being able to sleep real well. I have one major project I'm working on this afternoon and then I can relax this weekend. If it doesn't rain I have plenty of yard work to get done. Lots of crap to tear out of the ground. We have a small jungle growing in the backyard.

On Saturday night I went to a Muckrakers concert at Headliners with my friends Kim and Bethany. It was one of the best concerts I've been to for a long time. Well, maybe not better than Coldplay, but pretty darn good. I love live music. It was one for the books. They had a big announcement. As of June 6, 2006 their record Front of the Parade is being re-released by Universal Records (USA). This is a huge opportunity for them and their careers. Here are some shots from the show.

Last night at the muckrakers concert I tested out my new membership with audioblogger.com. If you listen to any of the three clips I recorded you will notice the quality isn't very good. Oh well! I guess its really only meant for spoken word. Not a loud concert.

Save the SPCK!
This morning I received a note from a colleague of mine in England. One of our partner publishers in the UK, SPCK have retail bookstores as well. They are feeling the effects of books sales moving online more and more. This is a great attempt to bring some attention to a really sad situation.
