I'm back at disney for another event. It's a ruff life. I'm not complaining one bit. This time I was able to get a reservation with Disney's Magical Express. They pick up your bags in baggage claim for you and deliver them straight to your room for you. Its a pretty sweet deal. The only downside is you have to ride on this bus with tons of screaming kids with disney music piped into the sound system really loud. It's almost too much. We just dropped off all the kids at one of the other properties. Off to the coronado.
Yesterday was a milestone for my Impala. I hit the 50,000 mile mark. Its been a terrible first 50,000. I've had water leak after water leak. I'm positive that I purchased a factory lemon almost 4 years ago. I'm in the midst of pursuing legal action.

I'm pleasantly surprised that John Yarmuth beat Anne Northup. If I have to hear her talk about how much money she has brought to this community I'm gonna gag. Its not just about the money Anne. The dollar signs don't give you a free ride to go back to Washington. That's just not how it works. I expect more from you than just money. I expect someone to represent me and my families values. Thanks for your service but I believe your out of touch.

Last night we had a delightful dinner with Nancy and John Marshall. They are the owners of The Episcopal Bookstore in Seattle. It's the largest and most successful Episcopal bookstore in the country. It has a long and very well respected history because of their leadership. They shared with us the ups and downs of being an independent bookstore in the Amazon age. If your ever in Seattle stop by their shop and visit. You can find them online at http://www.episcopalbookstore.com. Bill and I treated them to a very nice dinner at the Waterfront Seafood Grill. As you can see we enjoyed a little dessert as well. I had a walnut chocolate chip cookie sundae with creamy vanilla ice cream on top. Yummy!
Yesterday my boss and I met with the amazon.com book buyers at one of their various offices in Seattle. I believe one of the Amazon staff told me beyond the main headquarters they have 4 other office spaces around town. I was very impressed with the quality of the Amazon staff. They know their stuff. One of the staff mentioned the possibility of Amazon creating a Christianity landing page within books. I offered some suggestions as to how I see that best being set up. I was asked to put my thoughts in writing and send them in. I will probably do it but I'd rather them higher me as a consultant to help with the development and ongoing marketing of religious books throughout the year. I can dream, can't I? Maybe my ideas will be so good that they offer me a job?
