I'm currently working on a big mailing to customers of www.thethoughtfulchristian.com that have renewed their 12 month subscription for another year. They're getting pretty cool water bottles/ coffee mugs.
It just took me around 4 minutes to download a 3MB file here at work. This is just crazy! I'm about to pull out one of our event laptops, pop in the Sprint Broadband card and use that the rest of the day. Even that would be faster. I just ran one of these online speed tests. Check out the results.
This morning I have a meeting in New York City with Church Publishing. They are the publishing house of the Episcopal Church USA. They have partnered with us on TheThoughtfulChristian.com, which is a product of ours at Presbyterian Publishing Corporation. Today my boss Jennifer and I are meeting with them to work towards strengthening this partnership.
I was able to fly into Newark a few days early and visit with my family down the shore in Eatontown. It was a really fun and relaxing visit. A little mini-vacation. As I type away on my little treo I'm on the train headed for NYC. I think we just passed South Amboy.
After the meetings over I'm thinking about heading uptown and checking out that new apple store that's all glass. Then I will head back to the airport to fly home.
Newark airport is very often the first and only experience people have of New Jersey. I agree that this airport is crazy, but you guys gotta give the garden state a chance. It has a lot to offer. Like me and the rest of the buckley family. I hope you enjoy the jersey slang.
